Kristýna Sirka Kacafírková
Biography
Kristyna's background includes sociology (Charles University and Warwick University) and communication sciences (KU Leuven), along with some hands-on experience in UX design and illustration.
Her interests span service design in healthcare, ethics and transparency related to technologies, patient-doctor relationship, and usability and acceptance of technologies in a work context. She enjoys using qualitative methods (such as co-creation sessions and ethnography) as well as a mixed methods approach.
Kristyna is part of the Digital Health and Work unit. Her research currently revolves around explainable AI (such as project ThermoBreast) and human-robot interaction (Proeftuin Industrie 4.0: TECH4WW), with a strong emphasis on human-centred approaches.
