Louise Hallström

Louise Hallström embarked on her journey at Imec-SMIT in 2023, following the completion of her bachelor’s degree in social sciences and political sciences (2022). She furthered her academic ventures with a master’s degree in “Communication Studies: Journalism and Media in Europe” from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (2023), solidifying her foundation for impactful research in the ever-evolving landscape of media and communication.

Louise is a dedicated researcher within the MUX unit at Imec-SMIT, specialising in projects centred around personalised and immersive media experiences. With a keen focus on user research, she brings expertise in co-creation methods, living lab methodology, and human-centred design to her work. She is currently involved in a few Horizon Europe projects in the domain of immersive media.
