Shirley Bruijnzeel

Shirley Bruijnzeel completed an undergraduate in European Studies at the University of Amsterdam and pursued a double masters' degree in Public Administration and Politics, Society and Economy of Asia at Leiden University. Prior to joining SMIT, she worked as a consultant in EU funding and completed traineeships at the European Economic and Social Committee (Brussels) and the Sustainable Development Goals House (Amsterdam). 

Shirley is a communications officer at SMIT. She is also responsible for communications and events as part of the Knowledge Centre Data & Society, which is an outreach program of imec-SMIT, VUB.
