Marco Houben
Biography
Marco researches collaborations for responsible AI in education. Starting from the premise that technologies and people mutually shape each other, he particularly focusses on the mediation of technologies with due regard to ethical, legal and social aspects. Topics in his research are guidance ethics, legal frameworks that regulate our digital society, multistakeholder collaborations, cooperative responsibility for operationalizing ethical principles into technologies, and a common terminology between developers and educational actors. Additionally, Marco works in different projects around responsible AI and stakeholder participation.
Marco has a background business operations in educational institutions and data protection. He graduated in Social Work and holds an MSc in Public Administration and eGovernment.
