Who controls the media landscape across Europe, and how is this shaping democracy? On Thursday, 6 November 2025, at 13:30, the The Euromedia Ownership Monitor consortium invites researchers, policymakers, regulators, journalists, and civil society representatives to the Press Club Brussels Europe for the launch of the new edition of the Euromedia Ownership Monitor (EurOMo). This event will be the first public presentation of the 2025 data, featuring a refined concept and new features.
The Monitor provides a database of the most relevant media outlets in Europe and their respective owners. The new data will reflect the latest 2025 status, and the search engine will gain powerful new features. During the event, participants will reflect on media ownership, transparency and the importance of media pluralism in Europe.
